Nintendo has been no. 1 for almost 30 years and been around for over a century! Ppl like atari, nokia, etc.. were a flash in the pan.

nokia certainly werent a "flash in the pan". i always disliked the company and its phones and refused to ever consider buying one for as long as i can remember but even i cant say they were a flash in the pan

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Who?

My gut is telling me Nokia was only no. 1 as a phone maker for 5 years. That's short.

he does make one really good point however. he says that nintedo has a strong name with the people that are aged 12 and younger, and that the other guys (ms/sony) have a strong name with gamers aged 12 and older, and thats true. and it is true that Sony and MS are getting more popular with younger gamers but nintendo is making no to little progress with older gamers

I have never seen anyone compare the Jaguar's sales with the Wii U's. Didn't it only sell around 200-500k?

"Nokia was the world's largest vendor of mobile phones from 1998 to 2012."

Also Nintendo hasn't been number 1 for 30 years in home consoles and he's talking about the Wii U so handhelds are irrelevant.

I remember when Nintendo went under after the release of Virtual Boy. They became instantly irrelevant.
