I was delighted when they introduced a very very very small rebate for having a certain gamerscore. Xbox 360 pioneered achievements for consoles so it would only make sense that they would make them even more relevant to gamers.

If I were them, I would make special awards for milestones like 50,000, 100,000 ect. A cool avatar award or a free game or something when you hit a big milestone that demonstrates your dedication to the system would be really nice ... just as Nintendo rewards those who reach certain milestones in number of games purchased in a year.

I suppose, people could just rent games, but if your gamerscore is over 100,000 and you have not purchased a few games, DLC and arcade titles along the way I would be very surprised.

Good ideas.

Can you imagine if they they let you chose between some special rifel in Halo, a free game or some other custom thing?  People would go nuts working on their gamerscore.

And I saw, there are some people near 1 million, not sure if they have made it yet.

I would be happy even with just a avatar t-shirt that says 150,000 (my current goal) or whatever on it. Free games and DLC would be even better.

You talking about Stallion83? He is at 923,000 gamerscore right now and wants to hit 1 million before Xbox One releases. They should make a statue of his avatar or something for the absurd amount of time, money and energy he has put into his 360. At the very least, they should name a special award or achievement after him or something.

I think 5,000 = $1. It is very easy to get to 5,000 credits .

I'm not sure, I remember seeing an article, I think it was in Game Enforcer, that two people were going for it.  They talked about their strategies and how they tried to get so much gamerscore per day.

I was impress they also went from some really hard achievements.  Me, I was really happy when I hit 10k, lol.

But yea, they should get a free something or special achievement trophy.  Like how Microsoft sent every 10 Xbox Live member a Free Special Edition Xbox 360.  Perhaps they give them 'gamer milestone' achievements

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Not sure why they don't implement a rewards program like Club Nintendo. Club Nintendo rewards you the most for buying new systems and games. This would probably help overall software sells for first party games.

No.

People with access to many games and lots of free time do.

So renters...

No, drug dealers.

I just realized you're a Sony fan and that's why you reached for a negative spin. Good job.

I don't think my GF will convinced when I say: "I'm gaming too much? But they are giving me money for it"

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

"Unfortunately, you can't join Xbox Live Rewards right now. It's strictly because the program is not available in your country. Check back often as new countries are being added to the program."

That is one of the reasons why I am buying Playstation 4.
Microsoft just don't care about Poland and many other EU countries.

Seems simple enough. This matches what i thought already, they want to push the MEDIA side of the XB1. There will be plenty of rewards for using that part of their service.

Also, they don't need to have really cool things for the high end achievers/users. Those people are obviously hooked into the ecosystem already.

This whole thing is to get you to have your games/music/movies through the xbox system. They want to take people off of the Apple/ios ball and chain and put them onto their own.

This is the way forward. This is what all companies should be doing. Rewarding for doing what you like. Games or movies.

also getting rebates for earning achievements is the best thing since slice bread.

thankyou Microsoft your like the new Jesus Christ.
