Forums - Sony Discussion - Yet another week that Sony throws it our faces that US PS+ is disappointing compared to other regions.

Its all opinion, I have Ps+ for both EU and US and the start of the year US had much better offerings now EU has better offerings. SCEA and SCEE are run totally different.

This month is okay, I'm looking forward to the Resident Evil Chronicles games. Gives me a chance to bust out the Move.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

This month the Plus titles for US are better then EU IMO.

I don't think it's been better every month. I remember a few where I liked the US offerings better.

Anyway, as far as it being the same in every region, I imagine that would be up to publishers. Sony can't force them to do that.

I'm not very happy with the main game this month, that's true, but I've been happy with plenty of others. Complaining about what another region got feels kind of childish, like complaining about a sibling getting a nutty buddy when I got an ice cream sandwich.

There's been one month that all five games Europe received were retail.  That's not like a sibling getting a nutty buddy when you got an ice cream sandwhich, that's like a sibling going to Red Lobster while you're taken to Mcdonalds.

They should have gave us the entire ICO/SotC HD Collection instead of one game.  That's the biggest point of the post that I was making.  First party and they're clearly making it a point that they care less about the US fanbase when they only give us half of the game.

ICO HD? Always wanted to play that, no disapointment for me =D

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

With only one game.  ICO HD.

Anyone remember June PS+ in Europe?

Kingdoms of Amalur
ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection
Demon's Souls
Rayman Origins
Coconut Dodge Revitalized

Literally every single month in the US is worse than the months in Europe.  At times we've got one PSN game for Vita, then months later we got the same PSN game for PS3.  Jet Set Radio, Machinarium, etc.  But with ICO/SotC, a first party game, so they're not paying anything out to publishers/developers for the games, they decided to make it blatantly obvious and throw it in our faces.

That's not all though.  Hitman Aboslution was on sale for Europe April 10th, but they bolded it and made it clear that it would be free for PS+ users the following month.  When has this been done for PS+ users in the US?  Never.  Rayman Origins Vita was on sale last week, it was in the blog, but they didn't have the courtesy or respect to let their fans know that it was going to be free this month for PS+.  The same has happened previously with another game on sale a week before it was free on PS+, though I don't remember the game.

I don't care what they offer.  I just wish they'd offer parity .  It's bullshit how much preferential treatment one region gets in comparison to another.

So if you live in the US and you're a PS+ member.  Sony is giving you the middle finger each month.

Maybe if Americans bought as many PS3 in USA as in Europe (proportionaly) they could care more... convince your friends to enter the PSN+

That doesn't make much sense since Sony's games sell better in NA than Europe, doesn't matter how many consoles you sell if they don't buy your games.

If people buy more games then it's better not to give them for free since they will sell (and one indie posted about the arrangment, so if the "lost" sales in USA is bigger than in EU the cost to put in plus would be greater as well).

Do we know how many subscribers to PS+ there are in Europe compared to the US? Could have something to do with that.

And maybe Sony want you to subscribe in multiple countries to have even more games.
