pc ps3 360 ps4 xb1 2014 im guessing fall 2014

The Evil Within, along with the next Metal Gear, is a game I´ll definitely want to play on a next gen system.

Next year already has a resemblance to 2008..we´ve got a new Smash Bros, a new Mario Kart, a new Metal Gear (I´m assuming it comes out sometime next year..hopefully), and The Evil Within will be "next year´s Dead Space", just in time for Halloween.

´Jesus, there is going to be hell to choose

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Looks like the savior of survival horror.

Survival Horror has been here (for those of us on PC, that is). That said, this game just hasn't drawn much attention from me. Maybe it's because of the gory setting, I don't know. I'm just not that excited about, right now.

So, maybe I´m considering a bit of PC gaming just for survival horror..can you tell me what´s been cooking in 'horrorville' on PC?...a new Amnesia game, I hear.

Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, Slender: The Arrival (scariest horror game I've ever played), Outlast (comes out on Steam in 14hrs), Dreadout (F2P like Slender: The Eight Pages). That's just the new stuff. Then there's classics:

Penumbra Series
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series
Lucius
Anna

Plenty more.

Thanks!

Particularly interested in that Slender game, with you saying it´s the scariest game you ever played (and it seems like you´ve played plenty of horror games)

I don't see the hype for this game. But I hear a lot of survival horror fans that the genre is dying, especially in the non independent market. If this game does not find recognition and flops I will know for sure that those fans are all talk no action. I remember when Resident Evil Revelations was named the return to the roots and the HD edition sold miserably, so the message to Capcom was, that it's still a better deal to make a Resident Evil 6.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I just checked out a YouTube let's play of Slender: The Arrival only because you said scariest you ever played. And damn, it looked great production wise! Only glanced at it, don't want any spoilers.

It got me thinking, or it reminded me, that since I am right now not in PC gaming but I am planning to go back in the future, I have this problem: How will I know to check out all these great PC games that have been released over the years? I wish there was a list, a thread or something. It seems the horror category alone has a substantial number of games I really want to experience on PC.

I wish I liked those PC horror games being mentioned here but I find them all pretty dull and boring. Specially amnesia and slender :S and I don't find them scary at all... but I've never found horror games to be scary and I don't feel much difference between playing a horror game and say... Devil May Cry (in terms of how scared I am while playing, lol)
I'm really anticipating this game. Sounds like it will have the spirit of older survival horror games :)

A banner stolen from some site xD

Release Final Fantasy Versus XIII nowwwwwwwwww!!! lol :P

Good one. I'll try to remember that.
