Xenoblade Chronicles and Endless ocean 2.

Xenoblade because of the artstyle and music, especially in Satorl Marsh and Valak Mountain. EO simply because of how soothing and relaxing the atmospheric it is.

Halo - Very original atmosphere and overall immersion factor that I still to this day has not been matched by another shooter.

Splinter Cell (original trilogy) - Very authentic spy & espionage atmosphere.

FEAR - Big fan of abandoned factories / office building setting and secret facilities in general. FEAR was a very eery game with amazing horror scenes.

Stalker - Very authentic and creepy atmosphere.

Alan Wake - Big fan of shows like Twin Peaks, Millennium and X Files. Nicely designed settings.

Assassins Creed games, especially AC2 and Brotherhood. City of Venice is probably my favorite historic setting ever seen in a video game.

Chrono Trigger when they are walking through the terrains of a desolate future. Very, very atmospheric. I never forgot what i felt first time.
