Amnesia, because shitting my pants.

God of War probably because of how awesomely they recreate the atmosphere of Greek mythology through architecture, vibe, characters, brutality, and even landscapes.

Warden of Platformers

Resident Evil 4. It was the first time I played a game like that. It was simply amazing. It is still  amazing to this very day. The feeling of exploring forrests, houses with such a dark setting without an annoying partner ( Looking at RE5 and RE6).

Too hard to say because there are so many with strong atmosphere, who left a strong impression due to their special atmosphere.

I love when a game has a certain atmosphere that is hard to describe in words but you just feel it, and most great games do.

Dragon Age Origins had great atmosphere.
Oblivion had, obviously. It's the best game of all time.
Dark Souls has
Dead Space had a special atmosphere.
Red Dead
Vanquish
Hunted: The Demon's Forge
etc etc
