That's an interesting question. Normally for an FPS, m/k without doubt, but the movement in this is so jump-centric. Both are going to have advantages, I think.
Watching that video gives me mixed feelings. The shooting and parts inside buildings really do seem like CoD with jump-jets and mecha. The mecha combat also seems kind of blah and makes me wonder why anyone would ever get inside one--unless, of course, they're over-powered. The jumping and wall-running is far and away the star of the show for me.
Still, I have my doubts. Watching real-time video of actual people playing, the game-play does not seem nearly as smooth and simple as the E3 video where the guy was killing everything that moved without little trouble. Instead, it's as chaotic and sloppy as hell, with lots of jumping and weapon spraying. If people are constantly jumping, seems like the Smart Pistol would be OP. Of course, that might just be because no one knows how to play. Game-play will probably calm down when people figure out how to not be spazzes.
I'm kind of torn. It looks fun but it also looks kind of shallow. I can't help but wonder if the break-neck pace will take all sense of tactics out of the game and turn it into a multiplayer where the first one to see the other wins, or the first one to stop jumping and running dies. I know some people love that but I like to play games where it's not all twitch.
Right now, unless my mind gets changed, I'm thinking about passing on this one.
Also, this is a PC game, as well, so it should probably be in the general gaming section.
