Wow, that Vita pricecut did nothing. This doesn't bode well for the WiiU price drop.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Pointless cutting the price when you have no compelling software for people to play. Simple videogame industry sales stuff.

The portable Dreamcast.

Difference is the Wii U actually has more software to go with the price drop. (WW HD and the rest of the hoilday line-up).

I guess we can safely cross out Splinter Cell for the Wii U doing any type of respectable number (most likely <120k LTD), up next Rayman...

PS3 rise is pretty nice, this will most likely be the baseline, number should be going up for the rest of the year with the 199 PS3 and the heavy hitters coming out such as FIFA and GTA5

PSV well it wont go any lower, so it has that going for it

Xbox brand in the US is still strong, impressive sales and rise with new releases

I'd say it should do around 100k LT. So, not really. But then again, you'd barely know it even exsisted.

And yes Banana, you've beaten me to things in the past. :/

Well if Ubisoft is using this as a gague for future Wii U support, its 0/1 so far

Those Splinter Cell Wii U Numbers D:

Digital numbers can't be much better either -_-

Disney infinity did better on 360? But our pre-order chart had the Wii way ahead. .. :(

Splinter Cell Wii U almost tied the PC version? Nice!

yes because nobody who has a gaming pc buys his game at retail^^ well, i do sometimes but only because of slow internet.

Dat PS3's numbers

The difference is that western retailers most likely had very little in terms of stock for the Vita, especially in the US (since it has sold horribly) and thus its lackluster rise.  The same will go for the Wii U.  Nintendo has a month to convince retailers to add more stock (and with the system selling poorly for the better part of 6 moths I can see them being gunshy).

Hmmm, good point, definitely an important factor.

Its not about compelling software, its not giving ample time for the price cut to be seen.  Sony should have had a future date for the price cut when they announced it at Gamescom to send more units out to retail to sell...its not like sales could have gone lower from what they were.
