Forums - Nintendo Discussion - How the heck are we supposed to reach the 2DS touchscreen?

Look at how close that screen is to the thumbs. Nice and easy to just move it over and tap. Or if you're uing the stylus, you're still symetric.

Now how the heck are you supposed to just move your thumb and tap anything but the top of the screen? Plus if this is designed for younger kids, they'd have shorter fingers. Why the heck did Nintendo move up the controls? Besides the obvious shoulder buttons of course.

you don't...if you already have an 3ds or a ds why on earth would you get the same thing...with even worse design??

nintendo needs to come up with new and refreshing systems instead of the same old thing.

Actually im using the gamepad for the wiiu, its reachable with your thumbs. the 2ds is smaller so its easy, no complaint

i think it will somehow work, like wii u triggers and bumpers

Lol this is targeted for kids according to Nintendo right? Well they have much smaller hands, I don't know how they expect them to reach the touch screen without them having to place that thing on the floor or something.

its not a new console dude its for younger audiences and entry level people. its like a different, cheaper model. This idea along with pokemon bundle will sell them millions.

That's exactly what he is saying. If it was intended for kids, how does Nintendo expect them to reach the touch screen.

easy use one hand to hold the 2DS and the other to touch the screen. Its not that complicated. People do it all the time with handhelds :p

Use the third hand, duh.
