It's hard to make anything positive out of it for MS when even COD is selling better on PS4 than Xbone.

and even Bungies new game (Destiny) has higher pre orders on PS4. 

To be fair, unlike Ghosts of Battlefield 4, Killzone isn't available on current gen systems.

Let me try.

The fact that Ryse is selling more than 2 copies is a crowning achivement.

On a serious note, it looks like their Call of Duty exclusivity agreement is working.

Ps3 launched 3 months after the holidays in Europe and mostly sold out of its 600k shipment. With the Ps4 launching 200$ cheaper and before the holidays and enough supply it will defiantly sell more. FW launch in Europe for the Ps4 will be >800k in my opinion (if sony is able to ship it). Should see similar numbers in US too considering the 1 mil+ preorders.

Only question I have is how much of this is related to the shortage of Xbox pre-order allocation. Considering GameStop and other vendors received more PS4 pre-order allocation. Perhaps there really is a shortage of Xbox's to go around. I still think PS4 would be a head if both had equal amounts of stock to sell this Christmas but I don't think by as much. I pre-ordered both so does not matter that much to me anyway.

This battle is not over by a long shot. When Microsoft gets their production up and starts running tv comercials showing what the new Kinect 2.0 can really do it will knock the socks off of the general public and unfortunitly because Sony gimped the PS4 by not making their camera standard equipment most publishers wont include that in their versions of the games and they wont be able to look nearly as impressive to the general public. 

These preorders are the hardcore gammers and if Wii taught us anything, they are not the ones who decide what console wins the war.

It's okay, when Sony shows what the games on the PS4 will look it will "knock the socks off of the general public"
