They're over the top.  Doesn't anybody else think they could have ads that don't enlarge and immediately start with sound?  It's ridiculous.  This is a professional website, not a joke - the ads can be way better.  I don't find ads like this anywhere else, here they are absolutely horrific.  Anybody else?

Gaming related ads on a videogame website are generally better than for example, "Buy your new lawnmower here!" ads.

Plus, you'd be surprised at how uneducated the members of VGChartz can be on the topic of videogames.

Hi ioi, you probably don't own an iOS device otherwise you would have seen that the ad for "CLOSE UP PICS" is still there.. for like the last ~3 months...

Do some digging. Look who actually developed "Close Up Pics".

MediaFlex.

Now guess what? On that official MediaFlex page, guess what website they link to!?

Thats right, GameWise. Im willing to bet that our very own ioi owns MediaFlex, or has close ties in MediaFlex.

Edit - And just to make sure, a quick Google sure of "Mediaflex Walton" proves this to be true.

The ones with sound are really annoying, I agree. They shouldn't start playing by themselves but be mute.

Other than that, I don't have a problem with them.

This topic comes up at least once a week, and it always falls on deaf ears.

Ugh.. thats awefull.. besides the fact the ad is waay too big blocking the user experience of us iOS users... its on every reload.. its not even cookie based.. its also blocking other paid ads. who does business like that.. you can't go blocking paid ads with your own ad..
