OT: I do love fighters, they normally are fairly good games for showing off graphic ability of new consoles.   EA UFC game looks amazing but thats a different type of fighter.

Yeah, its a really good game, but nooooooo, PS community rather play Killzone 564 and uncharted 59

the game sold 1 million units. but sony messed it up, they should have secured crash, spyro, cloud, snake and ( that dude from final fantasy what ever his name is). the lineup wasnt all that popular (though they were great characters to play with).

Xone also has fighter within an exclusive for kinect as a launch title

Also the likes of Sora and Lightning (yeah yeah everyone hates her. lets be honest it would have helped Jp sales a lot more then any other character), Old Dante etc.

Remind me of any console in the last 10 years to launch with a (major) fighter? Wii U with Tekken Tag doesn't count since it launched in the middle of the gen and of course it got lots of ports, the whole point of a "new gen" is to see new gen fighters not the same old shit playable on older systems.

sales wise or for your enjoyment?

as for enjoyment im not buying a PS4 because as much as i am hyped, FFXV and MGSV arent there day 1. and there the only 2 games announced (before Gamescom) that intrest me.

My enjoyment. I always buy a fighting, a racing and somebody else together with my console... for PS4 I will get Killzone, DriveClub and ResoGon (free on Plus)... it is lacking a fighting game
