Funny fact is the Dual Shock 4 is more like the 360 controller than the Xbone controller lol.

This isn't a fact and not true. Lol.

The sticks in Xbone controller are like DS3... the only great improviment in Xbone controlle is the dpad... so if MS just make a 360 controller with the Xbone controller dpad it's will be perfect but they changed.

Now the PS4 controller is more close to 360 controller in terms.

I will try them soon and give you a more detailed opinion.

I will do this, too. Also don't downplay the changes done to Xbone-controller. You left out the weight-changes and the rumble in the triggers - why? I don't know anybody who had any complain about the Xbone-controller and all say it's better than the 360-controller. So if the new DS is closer to 360 there is only one conclusion

Well, Xbox 360's controller being better than DS3 isn't a fact to start with. DS3 had some clear advantages over 360's controller. Sure 360's controller was generally better for racing and FPS games, and there is no dispute that it felt more luxurious. But DS3's button arrangement and sensitivity was as close to perfection as it gets, its only flaw is the lower shoulder buttons in which 360 excels.

Think of DS3 as a "performance car" the ride is stiff but it drives very well :P

@ethomaz

You're wrong if you think an Xbox 360 controller with a decent D-Pad is enough to be a perfect controller. Xbox 360's round buttons were stiff to press and difficult to slide over, and the concave analog stick (which began with PS1's Dual Analog which Sony ditched) also has its own disadvantage like when swtching between buttons and sticks back and forth.

Thing is: the whole discussion is useless. PS-only fans will always say DS is better, Xbox-fans will always say their controller is better.

Facts:

- Both got improved. The DS needed more changes obviously (at least in Sony's mind), Xbone-controller is a smaller update

- Both controllers are the best you can get for gaming, for sure.

- Both have very good additions (touchpad, rumble-triggers (!)) [which eventually will be implemented by the competitor ;)]

- Personal likings can't be handled as facts

Other than that their aren't hardly any facts, except for weight and size.

a game changer would have been to let you use an improved sixaxis for precision aim in shooters like in golden abyss for vita.
At the beginning, I hated it to aim with but by the time i finished the game, I didnt understand why any shooter should not have this feature.

I think the track pad was just added to use the browser, like you would on a laptop. I dont think most developers will even use it because they will all juse stick to using the 'action button'.

Fighting games being better on PS3 is an outright fact man, as do racers on Xbox 360. I own both consoles with more games on X360. I have RE5 on both and it handles much better on PS3 because I can pull tactics that are "impossible" to perform using the Xbox controller! This has very little to do with me being a playstaion or Xbox fan.

But then again, it all comes down to the type of game you're playing. Each controller probably has its advantages/disadvantages according to given situations. RE5 happened to be the only game that I had on both systems.

With that said you're making good points.

You are right but I was exclusively talking about the next controllers, the current situation is well known to most of us, I think
