Forums - Microsoft Discussion - A thread for Europeans who pre-ordered X1 and only for them

Pre-ordered mine a while ago. Liked the original policies better though (ya I know, I'm a horrible human being)

lol, my bro is the same. he was 100% Xbone but then they reversed the policies. now he is split. he bought 360 for the exclusives but none of the new ones appeal to him and the same Halo and Gears combo wont cut it for him anymore. i guess its series fatigue

I haven't pre ordered....
but I'm getting one as soon as first I have the cash to actually get what I want when I buy it and when I'll see a nice bundle with at least 2 joypads and a starter kit and maybe a game or 2...
and also my 360 backlog is holding me back but count me as a EU XB1 day one if I can make it lol

I feel so sad to see only few posts in this tread. I hope X1 will be not dead on arrival in Europe.

Yet to pre order but I will soon I think!!

Pre-ordered since E3, but MS postponed the launch in Holland. Still considering drive to Germany to get X1 at launch.

Reason: Xbox fan, exclusive games such as RYSE, Dead Rising 3, Crimson Dragon, Forza 5.

I have no any reason to reject X1. It will be my next favorite console.

Living in Brussels, ordered mine on amazon.fr

+1 day delay in delivery argh

You guys do realise that you can only play xbox ones in the country they're bought in ?

The xbox one games are not region locked. However, the xbox one console IS.
Meaning you can't play online in the country you live in if your console is from another country.

This also means that you can't download the Day one patch, which renders your console unplayable.

I never pre-order consoles but I consider getting an X1 at launch.

That was before the policies reversal I believe. It is region free now.

complete BS
only the account is region specific.... your XB and games are region blind completely....

and even MP is country blind no matter what region your account is from.... I know I use a US account all over the world..... and even if what you said was remotely true.... I currently use US only service in Europe through VPN..... region lock is a non issue if it existed anyway given that you have a little bit of geek knowledge.... but the XB is not region lock that is complete BS... I'll prove you wrong with mine in 6 weeks.... with my US XB1 playing in EU 999999999999999% sure about it.... I'll wave at you through Skype if you want while low riding in Forza with the other hand
