I'm one of the people that actually liked Daredevil but this is bad.

Another thing, after Daredevil came out Ben Affleck was acting all butt hurt and said he was embarrassed to be playing a superhero and he would never do it again. What changed?

Ben Affleck has the face of the worst thing that happend in movie history ...but he is a better actor IMO.

Maybe he will do an Adam West - Batman impersonation. :D

I just read this and I can't say I impressed that Affleck got the part, Snyder’s Batman is going to be different to Nolan’s so there is room to create a Batman for Affleck, problem I have is that will Affleck be able to let the part take center and not him and also make me believe that it is not him as Batman every time he appears on screen and opens his mouth? He is not the worst choice and I have enjoyed quite a few of his films, Daredevil I actually enjoyed but that was in 2003 so things have changed, I think that the role of a Superhero requires a lot of acting ability now. Going to be interesting how this all turns out and more than Affleck will be if Snyder can create a good film at the end of the day.

Well, it wouldn't be my first choice. Or even my second or third choice. But Affleck is far from terrible. I think he can be a fine actor when he doesn't stray too far from his comfort zone. He was great in Changing Lanes.

One actor can't usually doom an entire production, anyway. Unless it's Ashton Kutcher or Denise Richards.

I have a feeling we'll have that episode of South Park revisited at some point in the future in an upcoming season.

Affleck has this boy-next-door face that fits for the sterile Superman look,
but he is 100% the wrong for batman,
but it is not the first epic casting fail considering batman.
We've been punished with michael keaton(though it didn't matter as tim burtons batman was 100% shit)

or Mark Wahlberg :D

I do think it odd to cast someone who played an idiot in most of his parts as a genius.
That said, I am not sure why everyone thinks Bale is such a good batman. He didn't really act that much at all.
I think anyone could have played the same part as him in any Batman movie. Other than his voice(which I found silly) nothing about him stands out. a rich person playing a rich person isn't a stretch by any means.

To be honest, I REALLY enjoyed Affleck's last few movies, especially The Town. I'm glad he turned his career around. I just don't think he can pull off a Batman voice (then again, Neither did Bale). Aside from that, I'm okay.
