Did they ever actually say 'We will never change DRM requirements or offline" ect? There is a bit of a difference between this and a 180 on those issues.

Also there is no issue with a Kinect bundle as long as they bring it to price parity with PS4, when they do it'll be better value than PS4.

But I wouldn't expect that until September 2014.

it already is priced parity ps4 camara is another $60 and you would need another 20-$70 for either a navigation and or motion controller

Excellent news. Splitting your demographic is stupid. Especially from day 1. Sony are cheaping the eye functioning doing what they are. and businesswise is a horrible idea. Maybe thats why microsoft isnt in financial turmoil.

My exact thoughts.  I actually hope they don't.  WOuld be nice to see this capabilty being used instead of being discarded because of the core group complaining.  But, like you said "180?"

If the PS4 had the eye mandatory with console sale it would cost the same as xbone at launch then it would lose its huge lead it already has, I think sonys gamble has paid off.
