PlayStation nation in full force!!!

Will uk be sony land again? looking at AmazonUK, which lots of people in the uk; the preorders for ps4 and its games are booming above the One. What do you think?

Big thing is how many can they produce? I think that will be only limiting factor for that first 4-6 weeks.

Considering is still 3 months for launch...., that number can possibly be twice at launch. PS4 is going to annihilate all previous records....

or maybe it will peter out..

gamecube, wiiU, and vita had some of the best launch day  sales of any system yet things quickly turned sour just weeks after release.  don't get me wrong, i'm excited for these pre-order numbers but i am also very wary of them.  true success will need sustained sales not just a huge launch.

That sounds awesome really, the next generation needs a kickstart and it seems PS4 will deliver :). Does anyone have preorder figures from PS2, PS3 and X360 launches?

Not surprising when you consider a) the length of this generation and b) the rise of online shopping.

The real test will be post-launch, not pre-launch.

I'm predicting a 85% sell through on day one with 3 millions systems sold.

It's a different world now...wonder how many of those preorders are by lousy wannabe profiteers.

It seems like all of the pieces are falling into place.
