Their pressconference was E3 level. Big stage, a livestream and lots of new announcements.

21 PS4 games

7-10 new Vita games(its time to call it the indie handheld)

PS3 and Vita pricecuts

PS4 releasedate

and lots of other media stuff

Seriously, it looks like only Sony takes this market serious, handling like it was E3. Microsoft thinks the show is inferior and Nintendo couldnt even show up. Shame on you Iwata!

Sony Gamescon was awesome? Seriously?

It was a boring-fest of "Developers saying how cool this is", Indie games, some cool first and third-party games (Some of them were already announced) and Ubisoft Ubisoft Ubisoft.

It sucked, in my opinion.

Actually, when you toned down your expectations, it was awesome. Did you really expect new AAA games for PS4 2 months after E3? With all the momentum PS4 has right now? Sony would be fools to show everything they've got with so much hype going on already.

In terms of games (which is 90% of what concerns me at these things) it was okay. I am hoping 2014 the PS4 really starts to come into its own after 2013 saw best year in PS3s life cycle for my tastes and took much of the attention.
