Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii U owners, what 3rd party Wii U games are you buying for the rest of the year?

Sonic Lost World thats it.

I see no point and never saw a point in buying multiplat games on a console when they also come out on PC. Why would I pay more money for an inferior version? (still worse graphics but the biggest problem is NO MOD SUPPORT)

If Splinter Cell, Assassins Creed etc would never come out on PC I would probably buy those games on WiiU.

Also not going to buy GTA5 on a console. Would probably buy it if it would have super awesome WiiU features like 2 player mode on 1 console or something (thanks to the extra screen on the gamepad)

You have a good point. However multiplat  games sales are pathetic on the PC. I sometime wonder why developers even bother. The "biggest game of all time" COD:BO2 couldn't even sell 1m copies on the PC. This is evidence 90%+ of people don't agree with you but it doesn't make you wrong.

Then you said "Would probably buy it if it would have super awesome WiiU features like 2 player mode on 1 console or something (thanks to the extra screen on the gamepad)."

Right there is why most will get multiplat games on consoles. No PC can give them that gamepad experience (or kinect etc, ) nor can pretty graphics or MOD support make up for the unique gameplay. Rumour has it next gen will support and promote MODs but that remains to be seen.

Let me clarify the above statement. The PC can indeed offer gamepad, kinect etc,. But what developer will waste time and resources offering something that 0.00000001 % will use? Consoles offer these out the box.
