Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii U owners, what 3rd party Wii U games are you buying for the rest of the year?

Starting tomorrow, (today in a few hours in NA) the Wii U will see a new wave of third party support.

Over the next three months, we'll be getting Wii U versions of:

- Splinter Cell Blacklist

- Rayman Legends

- Batman Arkham Origins

- Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

- Watch Dogs

- Call of Duty Ghosts

- Sonic Lost World

Aside from the Wii U's launch lineup, a Nintendo console hasn't seen this much 3rd prty AAA support since the Gamecube.

If these fail to exceed the performance of the launch lineup, however, the Wii U may never again see such support.

Which ones do you plan to buy on Wii U, if any?

Interested in most of those, plus Deus Ex. Probably won't get another Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty, though. AC is pretty boring and I generally only get a shooter every other year.

Watch dogs
and maybe Sonic and Splinter

oh and DeusEX if i can find a copy

Sonic Lost World only, sadly.

If it were a slower season for first party games, Watch Dogs and Batman could well be up for purchases, but not when there's a Pokemon and a handheld Zelda and a DKC and a damn 3D Mario.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Rayman Legends, W101 and Watch_Dogs will accompany ZeldaWWHD.

Depending on other items utilizing my time and cash I may also pick up SplinterCell, BatmanAO and DKTF.

AC3 put a sour taste in my mouth so while I still have AC4 on my wishlist, I'm strongly considering deleting it. I may just leave that series behind.

(I also just recently bought Pikmin3 and DuckTales remastered)

This year? None.

Got my Wii backlog and 5 WiiU games to go through after I settle in my new house.

Although my first 2014 third party purchase could be Sonic, depending on how that game turns out like.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

As long as they get good reviews, I will be getting Watch_Dogs and Sonic Lost World.

Add me! :)

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Watch Dogs
Call of Duty Ghosts

Might buy Arkham Origins too, but it is gimped, and I'm not too sure if I'm gong to support that.

Sonic Lost World thats it.

I see no point and never saw a point in buying multiplat games on a console when they also come out on PC. Why would I pay more money for an inferior version? (still worse graphics but the biggest problem is NO MOD SUPPORT)

If Splinter Cell, Assassins Creed etc would never come out on PC I would probably buy those games on WiiU.

Also not going to buy GTA5 on a console. Would probably buy it if it would have super awesome WiiU features like 2 player mode on 1 console or something (thanks to the extra screen on the gamepad)

Not everyone has a gaming PC. ;)
