Sounds like you might have aggressive tendences or a short fuse. She posed no threat to the cop, they have video proof. Problem is we don't know why the cop handcuffed her so until then you kind of need to reserve judgement, we all should. No cop should ever punch a woman, and second of all she never struck him.

-Nope neither, I just believe in gender equality, so if a woman wants to get physical then she will be delt with physically, same as men. cause and effect. But like I said a punch would not have been thrown if the woman in the pink had not got involved the way she did, she may think twice before doing it again.

-Your right we don't know why the cop is handcuffing her, but what is clear is that she is resisting arrest, so the question I would ask is why is she resisting arrest? Still as I've said before if she had complied with the cops request, this would not even be news.

-"No cop should ever punch a woman" that statment is sexist, it excludes men putting them as second class below woman when it comes to physical violence. What you should have said is 'No cop should ever punch anyone' this statment would be gender neutral.

That would be the ideal, unfortunately people seem to being moving in the direction of having NO common sense.

So where common sense dictates that Jay walking could put you at a higher risk of getting run over when compared to crossing at the pedestrian lights, peoples lack of common sense instead makes them jay walk, this has lead to laws being put in place to protect people from themselves.

To be honest, it's a sad state of affairs cause we seem to be heading in the direction of the movie Idiocracy

you must know why we're getting stupid, it from over protection. Govt. taking on every role including parent and teacher. If you watch politicians you know Govt. doesn't do anything successfully. So why do we give it these roles. The Dept. of Education was started in 1980. Government education is full of fail. I love idiocracy btw awesome movie!!

-Lets put it this way, it's easier for the wealthy government leaders to rule over dumb people than it is to rule over boisterous inteligent people who question everything. Don't get me wrong their is still plenty of inteligent people, afterall their required to maintain the current systems and technologies, but the populus ingeneral is losing IQ points. I mean our current reality TV shows are not far off from 'ow my balls', our language is degrading we may soon find that you will be called 'gay' just for being able to speak formaly, and we are getting ever closer to barcodes tattooed for currency payments, visa paywave leading the charge, it's the next logical step right? XD

Idiocracy seems to be an inevitability at this stage...well not unless there is a reset of some sort...though I honestly don't see that happening.

Sorry, but that seems to be the facts of our sordid society, and yes, I am inferring it would make a significant difference in many of your opinions.

Well there was a skinny, cute white girl watching the event. But she didn't curse or push the officer so she didn't get punched.

The not skinny and not cute black woman was punched for doing something she shouldn't have done. Which is cursing and pushing a police officer, thus obstructing him from doing his job.

 

This whole event could have been avoided if...

1) The women didn't jay walk in an area where its enforced.
2) There was no resistance from the women. The cop was just doing his job and it could have ended with a warning.

When you join the police you get some perks like carrying a gun, bullet vest but you also get one free kill (on black, mexican gang members) a few free punches on civilians and free paper spraying of anybody, he was just using his free punch and there is nothing you can do about it, it's a perk you get from the job.
