if I am within a week I'd consider it fairly accurate prediction for my first prediction on these forums. Ethomaz did predict OCT before I did, but I didn't see his post before posting (I think... even if I did it didn't affect my prediction) Even still good prediction by Ethomaz as well... it was on page 2 of same thread

That's rather strange, wouldn't that mean that Microsoft will be delivering an "unfinished" product to those 13 launch-countries? If there really were hardware issues then surely everybody would be inflicted, so why is the One's launch only delayed for 8 countries?

I personally do not know why it matters if the PS4 does better than the X1 at any point of their lifecycle if you are a gamer. Gamers only care about games and having access to games. Which console is able to sell the most product is just alien to me. Instead I am concerned about having great gaming experiences which I do not want to miss out on.
As for timed or not timed, I am sure if the game is great then people want to play it when it comes out but whos to say that if the game is great its not MS smoking AAA game that spurs sells. This is a move to sell the console in Japan and evidently either P had something to offer MS or MS showed some cash for development either way its a win for both if they are able to deliver.
As to the Japan only Game from P exclusive to MS. Would it not be a game that probably had more impact in that region then NA or EU. No need to make it exclusive to Ja if it was a popular title that sold well in the other areas.
It also could be that the title might only be exclusive to JA for MS but not exclusive in NA or EU

Possibly the same thing with MS, they have consoles, it just means they can't make as many as they expected. That's what they mean by yield issues. So if they only have a small number of consoles they're going to want to make the first leap in their biggest countries. America and U.K. If they can get a foot hold in these countries more sales will follow afterwards when they can actually make more consoles.
