Have you ever seen a Killzone as grand as Killzone is looking right now? I hope the multiplayer is spectacular.

Obviously sales have no direct relation to graphical quality when it comes to FPS.

Exactly. Halo and COD have never been the prettiest shooters but have the most fun multiplayer. Well Halo 4 was rather pretty so thats probably the first.

Halo has always been pretty and good sales. But it takes a special role as MS' biggest exclusive.

I am still looking forward to see sales and reviews of KZ, perhaps this time it will get more attention. It is wise to not put a number in the title.

I think Shadow Fall should be the new name for the franchise and they renumber it. Who knows, it might turn out to be a major next gen hit.

I never played any Killzone but watched some gameplay-videos on YT and didn't look too boring, but also nothing outstanding gameplaywise. The graphics were nice, though.

Personally, I found Killzone to be more gripping, realistic and thrilling than any Halo but Halo always got me for the scale and depth of sci-fi but the multiplayer for some reason never seems to match. Fundamentally this Killzone is very different than the Killzones of old that were very dark and gritty. The tone is more clean, edge and modern sci-fi-like.

killzone 2 was the best online shooter last gen. i simply just loved it to death. i cant wait to see what they have in store for Killzone Shadow Fall. here is hoping for 64 players online and destructible environments

Guerilla games simply can't do good gameplay. Without gameplay, you can't have good mp. So far there is nothing to suggest that KZSF will be anything but mediocre.

@bananaking
There is a game that already has 64 players and destructive environments. It also has the weighty feel that Killzone players love but runs at 60fps. It also competes with Killzone in the graphics dept. Its called BF4. I dont see how Killzone can compete with it.

Oh i miss those hourly long matches in killzone 2 those were just epic.

Hourly? How is that possible in an online shooter? That sounds incredible.

Except for the fact the majority of people who actually played the game thinks otherwise. I have never seen you post anything positive about a Sony franchise and honestly I can tell you never played Killzone. Seeing as 2 and 3 were met with universal acclaim by critics and fans, how is it mediocre?
