No. Look back to before the video game crash. Those arcade games were huge! Any of those IPs still popular? Nope, hardly. Another crash could kill off anything regardless of size.

Mario has as much of a chance of dying off as Mickey mouse. Mario is the most iconic video game character in the world. He isn't going anywhere. He's immortal. Can't be stopped. Mario is the best selling video game franchise on the Planet. And Pokemon should be here too. Pokemon wipes the floor with Halo and Gran Turismo in sales. And has consistently sold mind numbingly well for close to 20 years. The entire Pokemon franchise has sold over 200 million units. To ignore that is a crime. The series is still and will always be a phenomena.

That's the point, YOUR FIGHTING A LOSING BATTLE MY FRIEND!
the new sonic (sonic lost world) seems to bring back the good and old apeall.
have to play, but is very promising considering the trailers and gameplay.

Gears of War and Uncharted are two that I don't think will last much longer, at least not without a hiatus which would allow them to come back fresh. |
Your's and Soleron's posts make up my opinion on this. So great!
Anyhow, BK, you are just jealous.
