Odd quote from the article: "He[Michael Pattison] added: 'With Resident Evil 6 specifically, we probably put too much content in there, there were comments from consumers that said it felt bloated.'"

Who complains about too much content? No one in real life. Unless they really mean they tried to do too much and everything turned out half-assed. I honestly don't know because I didn't play it.

As for the PR bullshit thing, that's probably true. And why are they talking with the former marketing boss. What about the current marketing boss? Is the guy even with the company anymore? Was the interview before he left the company? Should we even listen to what he says if he is no longer with the company? It is just completely unexplained.

They were awful and certainly not before their time. There were plenty better designed online games before the Outbreaks released. Online doesn't explain all the shitty design decisions either.

online was barley used on the ps2, if they released a file 3 now it would sell more due to online being the "norm" now, id still rather play and outbreak game to resident evil 5-6
