The Ubuntu Edge has broken The Pebble Smartwatches record of highest amount raised for a crowd funding project.

At the time of writing this it has raised $10,495,170 surpassing the $10,226,844 the Pebble Smartwatch raised, the only bad news is that the Edge is still very far off the $32 million target with only 6 days left.

But it's still an awesome achievement in crowd funding projects.

Is this kickstarter or what is it?
First time I hear of both tbh

Yeah, unfortunately it won't reach the goal. I backed it, but I was so confident last Friday in it not meeting the goal that I bought a Samsung Galaxy SIV.

It kinda sucks that it won't but $32 million was very ambitious, and how much did you contribute?

Doesn't matter, they won't see any of the money.

They are wanting 32 Million?

This'll never come to fruition. 10 Million is already a lot.

Agreed it was a very high target, unless they had a longer time to raise it

Wait wait wait, can anyone give an explanation as to what exactly this is? Because that seems like an awful lot.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

It's a pretty powerful smartphone, if you check this http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/ubuntu-edge/x/4053975 it will explain it better than I will
