Could someone please link me some confirmed launch details? I've seen several articles saying the Xbox One delay in Europe will leave the door open for PS4, but none of the articles state when/where the PS4 will launch.

If no one knows, hopefully we find out at Gamescon.

Ummm...none, as far as I can remember. Holiday 2013 for NA and Europe is all that has been confirmed, but not necessarily which countries.

We could ask people if their countries are taking preorders, because retailers probably need to consult Sony first.

When they don't specify anything for Europe, I guess they mean these countries:

Seeing as they're even releasing in India and India is in that "Europe" list I'm pretty sure that's the right list.

Apart from NA, you can add Brazil, Aus, NZ and maybe Japan.

Why does it matter? If it isnt in your country you can import it if you are really that desperate to own a next gen system unlike the x1 since you need to download the day 1 patch

None! It has been scheduled to come "Holiday 2013" in loads of different regions (I think more than 13), but that doesn't mean that they are all coming the same day, I hope we find out more in 5 days

Thank you all :) So it's safe to say recent articles were jumping the gun just a tad. Can't wait for Gamescon! Hopefully all the dates will be finalized!
