Mark my words vita has the potential and it can sell over 50 million easily considering the Gaikai streaming which enables PS3 Library in Vita, PS4 Remote Play for PS4 Games, Indie Games support and Good First party AAA support which will begin from next year when PS4 is launched(right now sony focus is to keep PS4 in spot light which is their Major thing can earn more profits not Vita)

Soon the price of Vita going to be under 200$ along with price cuts to memory cards and PS4 bundle which will boost it so much.

but... There hasn't been an announcement for a bundle and you think vita will be under $200? I think $200 exactly, like how japan is. Also ps4 wont skyrocket sales, imo i dont think everyone will spend over $600 +memory card + games (yes some but not that much). and beside the people who want bundles already have vita's no?

VIta might not look good option right now this year but from next year onwards in the long run it will have advantages which i've mentioned above. Its easy for Sony to drop price to 200$ and memory cards which is expected in Gamescom along with some Vita announcements( we can get this under 200$ from offers often). PS4 can boost vita sales after we see the Gaikai streaming and PS4 remoteplay features in practical which is really nice feature to consider for many in the long run. Wait for a year or two then look at Vita sales which will go along with PS4 because of the feature i said, price and Sony promotions like Cross buy/save/play for some possible games which will enables lot of saving for customers who choose Playstation.

i see ps4 doing extremely well, vita is another story. It needs its own games and price cuts(like you mentioned). Just to ask how much do you think vita will sell this year and next year(2 separate answers)

Gamescom price cut is to $200 for both wifi and 3G. No price cut on memory as far as I know.

See as the Vita transitions to more remote play/gaikai games, it needs to sell at a greater profit or else Sony loses money. Hence future price cuts should be minimal.

Around 30m

I say around 34m.

NA: 5m
EU: 8m
Japan: 17m
Other regions: 3m

I believe the Vita will be the top selling system in japan by 2015, although I don't expect it to ever catch up with the 3DS. European sales will stabilise in the late teens whilst NA sales is stabalize around (10k).

For the sake of comparison I think the 3DS will do 60-70m.

NA:19m
EU:17m
Japan:23m

Very interesting prediction.

I say 20 million. 5 million a year for 4 years sounds about right for its life.

Memory card price cuts and a Gran Turismo that isn't watered down will give it a hell of a boost.

At least 50 million

Xbox One, PS4 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch will sell better than Wii U Lifetime Sales by Jan 1st 2018

Around 25 million. It will have the odd game here and there to give it a boost but it's too little too late.

20 - 25 million.

Alot of people seem desperately reluctant to entertain the possibility of a Sony console selling only as well/bit less than Xbox/GC, but that's how I see the Vita doing.

Over a year into its' life, its' fate is already sealed as far as I'm concerned.
