I'd even take an Endless Ocean 3DS, but on WiiU it would be nothing short of spectacularly immersive.

I would get a bit dissapointed if they made it for 3ds. It would be Super Mario 3D World all over again :D But Endless Ocean 3DS is better than no Endless Ocean I suppose.

Needs to be announced. Great games.

Smeags?

Oh yes Baz, I'm with you on this one.

Such a fantastic and unique series, especially in this gaming age of cinematic action blockbusters. It's just such a tranquil and beautiful game... *forlorning sigh*

And the hardware would suit the franchise in a spectacular way. Not just with beefed up hardware and a higher resolution, but the gamepad could serve some great functions as well (camera mode!). There's really a lot of potential here, so here's hoping that Nintendo and Arika (their last projects were completed last year) can bring back the magic.

Imagine fully orchestrated music, glorious hd graphics at night on a huge tv with all the lights off. Magic. Some don't really understand the glory of atmosphere in games. For me its been nailed in Metroid Prime, Endless Ocean, Resi 4 and Cursed Mountain (atmosphere saved that game from its basic abysmal nature). I'm sure there are others.

Yes.

I really enjoyed Endless Ocean 2: Blue World. It's a great casual, fun, exploring game, plus actually has some good fish encyclopedia information. I like it much better than the first one for several reasons: better graphics, more to do, and you can use the Wii Classic Controller.

I found the WiiMote controllers on Endless Ocean tiring and frustrating.

I don't have current plans for a WiiU, so it would be outstanding if they made it for the Xbox One. Plus, they could make it look so good. The feedback triggers could used to with the sonar to help you find things. They could really update and upgrade the game.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

The first two were fine. They just need more to do in them, for me. Then again, I felt the same way about Animal Crossing. I think if they made a third game for Wii U, in HD, it could be gorgeous, and if they'd just give the game more content, and more varied things to do, put a bigger focus on finding treasure or whatever, then I think it could be a great game.

But when it comes to water/ocean games from Nintendo, what I REALLY want, and have wanted, for years now, is a new Wave Race.

Considering the sales of the two first ones Nintendo shoud pull their finger out of their ass and give us a new one. I wonder sometimes why it's so hard to get new project started at Nintendo... Nintendo really need to adapt and get more productie like Rare were back in the n64 days or Naughty dogs today for exemple... BTW I know the game was not first party, but still, it's Nintendo that give the greenlight...

Of course.

Endless Ocean 3 is #2 on my wishlist of unannounced U games (#1 is Wave Race U).

An interesting thought. I've been wondering for a while if the game is a Nintendo IP, or Arika owns it. Do you know if Arika can develop it for other platforms?

Yes, we MUST HAVE a Endless Ocean 3 on WiiU. Two first games was amazing, and also this is the kind of game which will obviously win from HD-graphics and WiiU Pad also have a lot of possibilities in this game...

I honesty do not know.  If it was Ubisoft, yes I think they would, lol.

It looks like both game sold less than 2 million combined.  So I do not know if it is worth it.

You need to keep in mind that there are MANY games currently in development for Wii U that we have not been informed of. Not only is that obviously always the case for any console, but Nintendo have said as much. So there very well could be a new EO for Wii U coming, and we just haven't heard about it yet. Arika have in recent years been keeping themselves busy with the "3D Classics" line for the 3DS, as well as co-developing Tekken 3D for 3DS. But there's nothing saying they couldn't be developing EO3 right now.

Also, just curious, but exactly how is comparing Nintendo productivity to Naughty Dog.........well, productive? Naughty Dog have put out exactly 4 games on PS3 since 2006. How is that, precisely, more productive than Nintendo?
