Forums - Gaming Discussion - What Game Series Has The Best Intros?

What was your favorite out of those 3?

Vesperia 6 21.43%

Graces f 4 14.29%

Xillia 3 10.71%

See results 15 53.57%

So I know intros might not be important to some people, but to me they get me pumped and ready to sink hours and hours into a game.  To me the Tales of games have by far the best intros.  Every time I start up a Tales of game I almost never skip the intro.  Here are some of the recent ones from this gen:

Vesperia: http://youtu.be/yykLUiCgK8c

Graces f: http://youtu.be/SymLluPY-ig

Xillia: http://youtu.be/z5zSURhrEKU

If I had to choose my favorite from those it would be Graces f's intro.  So what games so you think has the best intros, or do you not care about intros?

Metroid :P

I don't know about entire series, but the best opening ever is this one:

I liked this one.  There might be another one I like more, but I can't think of it right now.

I always watched it whenever I put the game! It's awesome

Monster Hunter Tri had a pretty nice intro

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Here's a nostalgic one for me:

Wild Arms (ワイルドアームズ Wairudo Āmuzu?) i a Western-themed role-playing video game developed by Japanese software company Media.Vision. Originally released in Japan in 1996for the Sony PlayStation video game console, it was later translated and released in North America in 1997 and Europe in 1997 by Sony Computer Entertainment.[4] It is noteworthy for not only being one of the first role-playing video games on the PlayStation,[5] but also one of the few to feature a Western American setting and motif. The game features 2D computer graphics for normal gameplay, while battle sequences are rendered in 3D.[6]

From the wikerpedias.

Too lazy to do any of the description myself or find some actual reputable source (I mean, there's a typo in the wikipedia article).

The Soul Calibur series used to have the best intro's of any games in the past imo.
