Pull every SE-game from iOS and Android
Issue an apology for wasting peoples time with these games
Made Nintendo-consoles the main focus, starting with KH-franchise and a new Chrono-game
Announce Final Fantasy 10 for WiiU
Finally remake Final Fantasy 7 as a WiiU-exclusive

Wow. No one likes Hitman!

Proud gamer of Nintendo and Sony consoles since 2003.

FFVII remake, exclusively for smartphones

- F2P
- Uses REAL MONEY in item shops
- Additional party members and techs as in-app purchases (or from a sufficient amount of likes for Facebook advertising partners)

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

Hrm, I would probably..

- Release FFVI, Chrono Cross and other Square classics on iOS/Android
- Release a FFIX port on SE store and on Steam
- Localize and port FF Type-0, HD release for PS3/Vita
- Remake FFXII - HD version for PS3/Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PS4
- Make an eventual port of FFXV and Kingdom Hearts 3 for PC
- Remake Final Fantasy VII to release on PS4/Xbox One after FFXVI
- Ensure teams working on big projects like FF are well managed and on schedule (also bring back medieval themes and steampunk)
- Ask Eidos Interactive/Eidos Montreal for a new Tomb Raider to release every 2-3 years and a new Deus Ex title  - a remake/reboot of the very first game
- Make a new IP - an action RPG hunting game (akin to Monster Hunter)
- Start working on other new IP's and develop internally and/or source them out
- Reboot Parasite Eve for next gen consoles and PC

I would definitly revive the chrono and Xenogears and FF7 series. Starting with remakes.

On top of the already announced stuff.

After reading all these comments, I am glad none of you are CEOs for ANY company.

First: Increase quality check for Mobile games, release on IOS and Android at the same time.
Second: Promote someone who has proven themselves to direct a new IP JRPG. Their dream project. No passion, go work for EA or Nintendo.
Third: Grandia 4: AAA budget, release 2016, Star Ocean 5: AAA budget, release 2016. PS4/X1
Fourth: FF: Tactics 3 for 3DS/Vita AAA handheld budget. Release 2015.
Fifth: New IP at every 2 years.
Sixth: FF XV 2014
Seventh: Eidos team can continue doing what they are doing.

and Lastly: Dont listen to "fans" who spend half their time on the internet talking about games and complaining about games. They obviously dont play games that much.

Then I guess it's a really good thing they don't listen to you.

Hmm.

1. LR: FF XIII

Make DLC where one of Lightning's outfits is literally nothing. You could probably charge $25-30 and it would still sell like crazy, and Square Enix is, indeed, bleeding cash. M or Ao rating, for sure.

2. FF XV

Congratulations, as soon as LR is out the door, this and KH3 have my undivided attention. Really, all I'd want to see is a good script that the voice actors felt confident in and enjoyed voicing. No matter what happens, XV is bound to piss some people off, but if it impresses just as many you've successfully reinvented Final Fantasy.

3. Tomb Raider

Focus on survival horror with a strong action-adventure element. You want to dual wield pistols? GOOD LUCK FINDING AMMO. Try to push for the longbow to be Lara Croft's signature weapon after the reboot.

4. Parasite Eve

My favorite S-E franchise, and it needs a lot of work. If you have no plans to reboot/ rename it, then sell it for quick cash. Monolith Soft is basically what's left of the original's dev team, so Nintendo might want it so they'll have something to do after X. Atlus might want it. Capcom might want it. A western dev might want it. Chances are most won't, but the phone call won't hurt. If you put it up for auction I'm sure more interest will appear, both commercial and fan.

Regardless, because it's got some major creative work to do, you're not looking at selling it for much. But with S-E hemorrhaging money, there's not much you can do.

5. License the Crystal Tools engine on both the PS360 and the Wii U.

SIGNIFICANTLY undercut Unreal 3. Really, you wouldn't be making any money with it after LR, and while I don't think XV can fit on the Wii U, you can probably get Crystal Tools to work on the Wii U with a little tweaking.

A third party engine for the Wii U--especially one as pretty as Crystal Tools--would drastically alter the gen 8 console wars. Because Epic has explicitly said Unreal 4 won't work on the Wii U and Crystal Tools looks so much better than Unreal 3, you will basically have a monopoly. Whatever 3rd party development happens on the Wii U for years to come, you'll get a piece of.

Don't know how feasible No. 5 is, but SE would be wise to look into it. It could be a real game changer for SE, Nintendo and the generation as a whole.

I'd fire Tetsuya Nomura and Yoshinori Kitase and make a more than generous offer to Hironobu Sakaguchi to buy Mistwalker and have development over the Final Fantasy series again with final say so on whatever goes. I'd also hire Yasumi Matsuno and like Sakaguchi, give him complete authority over the titles he creators.

If giving the g ame a massive budget, I would limit that budget to $20 million for most games, $40 million for the Final Fantasy series. Including any advertising.

Also there would still be movbile phone and ios games, but the budget would be far less and the games would sell for less. This way they gain more profit.

It's kind of funny running over some of these responses. A lot of them would kill the company.

This is more of a wishlist than a list of actions I would do as CEO but I would like to see:

1. More than one main entry of Final Fantasy (not including a MMORPG) released during the next console cycle.

2. Move away from the serious tone of the recent Final Fantasy games and bring back some of the comedy and light-heartedness from the earlier ones.

3. Create a new intellectual property to try out concepts (e.g., open worlds, dialogue trees, non-linearity, etc.).

4. Develop the next Dragon Quest game for home consoles, return the series to a non-MMO format, and make it multiplatform.

5. Create a new tactics/turn-based game (perhaps something similar to Valkyria Chronicles or X-COM, but with more fantasy elements like magic, swordplay, etc.).

In general, I personally would prefer that SE move away from making re-releases and remakes, and focus on creating new games.
