Well i think soldiers can be as bad as terrorists but it depends on what they are doing. When we will learn there is nothing honorable about war, it just causes more problems in the country and fucks up the soldier physically and mentally. The government who declares war gets away with no effect of their action with their rich friends and spouts out propaganda to make you needlessly hate the other side. 

Also, how long have we been in Afghanistan now? 12 years? So why are there more terrorists now than before? the war hasn't worked, just leave and take your drones with you. 

And with police, it depends on what they did. If they fear their life then they should defend themselves. You don't shoot a mugger dead but you shoot a mass murderer probably. But anyway, in my country most police don't have guns and don't even want them. We have specialist police that are armed anyway. 

And personally, i just couldn't kill anyone. It gradually turns into a monster as you become insensitive to such a horrible act. I don't even practice a religion but killing is just wrong, there's no dispute there.

Well, all of you who have seriously answered that they'd kill others for political motives (e.g. people who are cruel to animals, corrupt politicians, etc.) are potential "monsters" just like Stalin or Hitler were. Especially the one talking about killing those who harm animals. Even if he didn't mean what he said, there is no doubt there are crazy people like that out there who would use that power to murder people they disagree with.

But, I don't think "not murdering" is the answer either. Those people saying they wouldn't use it to kill anyone are just indecisive and don't have a strong highly reasoned moral ground, in my opinion. People who harm other humans in very significant ways do deserve to be offed, even if they can't control their actions and even if you don't believe in free will.

So, what would I do? The power is too strong for one person, but too useful to be ignored. In principle, I think this power should be shared and in control of some entity whose main goal is to look out for the safety of others. So practically what I mean is I would create some company (which may or may not work for some government) of people, and the choice to kill somebody would have to have reasoning and evidence behind it. The people in the "company" would then vote for or against killing a certain person. I would choose the people who make this "company" up based on their use of reason.

Not a power I would have any use for. Like maybe I'd take out Michael Moore so his dumb, fat ass can stop making stupid fucking socialist documentaries that aren't based on any good research or data....or take out some of the Islamist extremist dictators that run countries in the middle east to help out a bit....but I wouldn't just used it on random people I see and don't like.
