X/Y I believe has a little more hype surrounding it so I'm goin with 1.8-2.1m

I don't have the numbers for hardware FW Pokemon Pearl/Diamond.

ill say 1.1-1.4m.  A lot of those will be Pokemon fans buying the console but it is right outside the big holiday period stopping it from record breaking numbers I think.

lol oops.  Ok Il try this again.  Pokemon Diamond pearl sold 3.1m Week 1.

I expect a 600k Increase.  So 3.7m week 1 for X/Y

This definitely changes my hardwar prediction as well.  Ill say 2.1m FW of X/Y for the 3DS.

Pokemon X/Y - 3.7m
3DS - 1.2m (Ergh I want to say 1.5but Ill stick with 2.1)

just to give you a heads up, its not really evolving! Mewtwo is shown going into his new MegaMewtwo form but changes back to normal. So technically its a form not evolution. Beside that i hope your prediction comes true
