A very good Nintendo podcast, but what i found really interesting is that there will be a major Nintendo announcement coming next week, which the editors are not allowed to talk about. What could it be?

Apperantly its so big ign will dedicate an entire episode of NVC in relation to this announcement.

Mh, Nintendo Direct probably?

Also, Steambox incoming:

What do you and especially johnlucas think? =)

at 48mins in. At close listening he says we'll be hearing about it next week, not that they're dedicating an entire episode for whatever it is that they cant talk about yet. That was just me hearing things, obviously.

So are we just going to go back to pretending the PS4 is more powerful? I don't mind, it won't be long until it's clear that the Wii U has much better specs than anything we've seen before. Especially relative to the competition

Lmao this thread can't be serious anymore. Anyone who believes anything this guy posts about specs is just.....

Seriously are people actually believing the nonsense you're spouting? Contrary to your wet dream X86 Architecture efficiency heavily depends on the operating system in use as well as the hardware itself. You're hilarious if you believe that ICE and the team behind Windows aren't able to make an efficient X86 machine.

AThe 2GB of RAM inside the Wii U isn't some type of revolutionary RAM. It still has to store system resources, textures, etc. Nintendo haven't cracked the code to super compressing everything to the extent it'll look better than a game with 5x the RAM. MUCH faster RAM with a higher bandwidth that makes the clock cycles waisted a non factor compared to the PS4.

you know what I'm not even sure why I'm waisting my time with this nonsense. I'll just say this no Wii U game does more technically than ANY next gen game shown. Since you guys love to argue about art style if the Wii U is better than than why isn't it doing what the PS4 and X1 on a technical level? Why does no game look as good as Second Son, Shadow fall, Rye, Driveclub it the two consoles are unoptimized and are launch titles in the first year? Lmao this is crazy that people actually believe this.

Wait, until nin10do exemplify things more accurately.

A few posts ago he said that he still has something to tell which supports his hardware theory. So let's wait

Until then, I also don't believe him 100%. I think this would be too crazy. But I'd like to hear more interesting stuff from him =)

I know its hard to believe because its too damn good to be true, but im 90% confident.

So guys, before I finish the prep work, why don't you tell me why the PS4 is more powerful than the Wii U? Nobody has even made a case for that yet. So go ahead, explain to me your reasoning. Each generation is a fresh slate, are you just making assumptions because Sony had the most powerful system on the market last generation? If you mention the original Wii your credibility is lost.

So go ahead, make your case for the PS4, why is it more powerful?

^ Given the numbers released - and i admit i understand absolutely nothing of them -, both PS4 and XB1 seem to have more of each... characteristic/component (ex. more RAM).
