Nintendo. Also, some of your points are inaccurate. Nintendo didnt have the first wireless controller, and the Playstation wasn't the first disc based console.

Nintendo. Every one of the companies has done things the other companies would have done as well, just maybe later. But Nintendo has done it the longest. It's like each company runs up to the cart and gives it a push. No one company pushes the cart much farther than the others pushed it. Nintendo just started 1st so it has pushed the furthest.

Thats kind of unfair Sony and Nintendo are doing it for a much longer time. I mean no doubt was Nintendo the most important gaming company. But Microsoft revolutionized online and this should not be downplayed.


I edited before you quoted, but he did ask which one contributed the most. In my view, while Microsoft did bring value, they did not contribute the most. I'm not suggesting their contribution was insignificant though.

Even though I haven't cared for nintendo since the SNES... its Nintendo.

But... you left out a lot of Microsofts great contributions.

DirectX is a huge contribution to gaming.

They also ushered in the HD era.
