GTA3 was so shitty for me. Was part of the reason I sold my PS2. Got GTA4 due to the INCREDIBLE hype and reviews, but couldn't play for more than a couple of hours before getting fed up. I'll give this one a try again, but I'm not paying full price.

i've never bought a GTA game yet and although 5 looks decent it's still not really my type of game and frankly i'm looking to move to next gen sooner than later.

IF,.. they get a port to ps4 prior to holiday 2014 when game releases tend to be slow (a console's first year is never spectacular,. am i right?) i could see myself picking it up just to fill in a gap.

Maybe once it drops to $20...I'm not dying to play it and my backlog is big enough to keep me from spending $60 on it at launch. Will buy for PS3.

Yup on PS3 as I am more comfortable playing GTA and other open world/third person shooters on that system.It will probably be the last game that I buy for a long time...not when it comes out though...a bit after probably (December most likely when I get time to play it.)
