Because every gen devs try to fool us! Why did they show us the tech-demo when the game doesn't even come close to it? So I don't believe that Square showed us real graphics on the PS4-reveal, too. I don't know the name of it anymore, sadly (I think it was something with agony).

We don't know how the game looks like, yes we saw glimpses, but it was vague and the trailer overall was terrible. Ofcourse i'm not expecting it to look anywhere near the demo but when we see real gameplay it should look significantly better then what we saw today.

It *has* to look better - currently it looks like ps2 in some moments.

ps2 ? those 0, 5 second glimps of the game lokked like ps1 brah, totally garbage, herp derp.

oh its you again !?!? hating on ps4 graphics?!!?!?!? oh nevermind ...

You are not getting it. It's Capcom's fault to show a tech-demo which is far away from what we can expect in the next 2-3 years. I am only disappointed that this happens at the start of every gen.

I remember when the launch-event was and I argued with some people that these demos are doubtful on ps4-hardware but I got hated and told "but they said it was running on PS4!". It's not ok to fool people, in my opinion.

I'm excited and concerned at the same time. I really don't like how all these games are going into the online territory as a form of DRM. There is no real benefit to having this online over single player.

The actual five seconds of in-game footage were disappointing. I know that we gotta wait and see the actual game running in action, but the graphics were far FAR removed from the tech-demo. It honestly looked like an average PS360 game. If it's an MMO then it might explain why it looks that way, but this isn't next-gen graphics by any stretch of the imagination if this trailer is any indication of the final product.

I don't know why people tell me to get a life. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!

deep downgrade. I actually thought they could pull off such graphics as shown on the reveal trailer. Maybe a few years down the road...

anyways, might be a pleasant experience for demon souls players.

What is everyone talking about? lol I cant see anything in that trailer that makes it look worse than the original one.... There is blur effects that prevent you from seeing anything in detail.... but I guess haters gonna hate...?

maybe you don't need a next gen console if you don't see a difference

Always online?...goodbye.

lets wait for gameplay before you all spur on a puberty attack.

Dude, its like a second of footage with rediculous motion blur. How the hell can anyone see anything?

I'm getting worried for next-gen.

Developers seem to be sending a clear message that if you don't like online and all you care about a game is the SP mode, then you should get out of gaming.

there will still be tons of single player games if you are into indies (which actually a big reason i like indie 'cause i'm more of a SP guy too).  the big publishers are trying to impress with "new" things and that means playing with the new technology which seems to mean online.  so yeah, most AAA games are probably going to be online in once capasity or another.

..which i may actually be okay with.  i really like co-op i just really hate team death match but drop in co-op is great.  if every game is online i could be okay with it just so long as what it means to be online is a lot more varied than last gen.  i mean, if deep down is online like how demon's souls was online then fuck yeah!!   developers just need to keep one fundamental concept in their head when designing for online: not everyone wants to get ganked or griefed so make games where assholes can't ruin my fun too.

Depending on how this gen proceeds.  I'm going to be and indie only player.
