Graphics look scaled down big time.

Of course. I hope no one believed the graphic-demo shown at the PS4-reveal was real.

You hope? I believe you dont care about PS4 or anything related...so why you care what people think?

Because every gen devs try to fool us! Why did they show us the tech-demo when the game doesn't even come close to it? So I don't believe that Square showed us real graphics on the PS4-reveal, too. I don't know the name of it anymore, sadly (I think it was something with agony).

Im getting a F2P vibe from this one.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

We don't know how the game looks like, yes we saw glimpses, but it was vague and the trailer overall was terrible. Ofcourse i'm not expecting it to look anywhere near the demo but when we see real gameplay it should look significantly better then what we saw today.

It *has* to look better - currently it looks like ps2 in some moments.

What the trailer looked like in february:

I believe it was confirmed on the PlayStation Meeting that Deep Down tech-demo was running on the PlayStation 4 hardware. Which confirms that it was a Real-time footage and not a Pre-rendered CGI movie. This only shows what the engine is capable off. What we'll see on the actual game is a different story, but for sure the second trailer doesn't look like a PS2 game. You can not tell by looking at few seconds of flashing vids

oh great.. another online game

I'm getting worried for next-gen.

Developers seem to be sending a clear message that if you don't like online and all you care about a game is the SP mode, then you should get out of gaming.

there will still be tons of single player games if you are into indies (which actually a big reason i like indie 'cause i'm more of a SP guy too).  the big publishers are trying to impress with "new" things and that means playing with the new technology which seems to mean online.  so yeah, most AAA games are probably going to be online in once capasity or another.

..which i may actually be okay with.  i really like co-op i just really hate team death match but drop in co-op is great.  if every game is online i could be okay with it just so long as what it means to be online is a lot more varied than last gen.  i mean, if deep down is online like how demon's souls was online then fuck yeah!!   developers just need to keep one fundamental concept in their head when designing for online: not everyone wants to get ganked or griefed so make games where assholes can't ruin my fun too.
