Even though it didn't click with me (thank you "So many games" for not making me waste 40€), it is a really well-made, charming game. Those 5Mil sales are well deserved.

Same here, while I see the quality and the appeal, and my sister is addicted to it,

I only see this title as Monolith getting used to the 3DS for their future 3DS title. Very charming game though.

Damn good sales. Having a single title over 5mil on such a young system is an achievement. Having 4 is almost unheard of.

Monolith's 3DS title will probably be stellar. Animal Crossing has the best IQ of all 3DS games I've played so far. Nice textures, Nice SFX and very few visible jaggies. Awesome 3D effect. Sure, the village is confined to a pretty small space, but that doesn't change just how great this game looks.
