I know your being sarcastic and no, no one don't want FPS.  :P

I'm not being sarcastic about either of my points.

You need to put more substance into your OP. (Just adding your own opinion would be fine.) And Nintendo needs to tone down the primary colors and throw in some more guns into their games. Possibly even add some dogs, that could be a nice touch.

Pretty much. But more so the word for me is disappointed. Disappointed in the direction they decided to go post Wii. I've never seen a company make such a U-turn from one gen to another. Maybe that's what the U in Wii U stands for. Ditching the Wii Mote in favor of a bulky Gamepad is baffling to me and unappealing as a previous Wii owner.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

No. In fact they're one of the very few mainstream developers that still make games I AM interested in.

No. Nintendo innovates. They may use the same characters and franchises but the gameplay often varies greatly between two titles in the same franchise. Also, they're one of the few major developers around today who isn't just making endless yearly iterations of bland, overdone FPS games or interactive-movie games that practically play themselves and you spend more time watching than actually playing. Also, they aren't afraid to use color....no bland brown, grey, post-apocalyptic crap. Also there's just a unique level of polish and a distinct "feel" to all of their games...they just feel good to play. It's like the difference between 3D platforming in ANY Kingdom Hearts game versus ANY 3D Mario game...precision, feel, and polish...it's the Nintendo difference. I'm not saying that other developers don't make fantastic games...they do..there are some INCREDIBLE games available for Sony and Microsoft's systems and some really talented 3rd and 1st party studios from other companies...but, the very BIGGEST hits on those other systems just don't appeal to me in the same way Nintendo's games do. By the end of this year I'll have bought 11 3DS games and 11 Wii U games....so no, I can't really say Nintendo bores me in any capacity (except for my one pet peeve which is the New Super Mario Bros. series....gah...I'm not even going to get into THAT one...). I just love Nintendo's games! I fully respect and understand people who feel otherwise, though. To each their own.

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

I was during 2010-2011, right up until Skyward Sword.

Then Xenoblade and a 3DS kept me busy for a while. Though lately, I've been meaning to expand my tastes a bit and get a PS3 once the price on it drops.

So...not bored, but really looking out to other things. Handheld-wise, 3DS will keep me busy until way into the next Nintendo one, considering it had some good 3rd party support that I like.

Your OP needs a lot more substance. Put some of your own opinions into it.

Also, yes. I've become extremely anti-Nintendo recently. Whoever plays Nintendo games is a kid, and they need to get over their kiddy games with their colorful and kiddy ways. Nintendo needs to make a hardcore FPS if they want me back.

Would you settle for an open-world and/or brawler game instead?

I'm bored of caring about Nintendo's games, but I don't find their upcoming games boring.

Take SSB for example. I know I will love the games to death and play them a ton, but I just don't care to check up on it.

I'd say no; while I've certainly got burned out on some of their IPs, there are plenty of other Nintendo IPs that I haven't really gotten into yet that have kept me entertained. And a (good) Metroid title is always something to behold.

No. I'm also not bored of the Wii U because I don't have one. My 3DS gets all my playtime right now (outside of PC).
