No emotional impact and no feeling of investment in what was going on in the game killed it for me. Judgement was my second most anticipated game of the year (Tomb Raider was the first) and, to date, I haven't even finished it. I've played through earlier entries multiple times. This game was just pretty graphics and chaos. Not a fan.

Gears 1: 9.5
Gears 2: 10
Gears 3: 9.5
Gears Judgement: 6.0

awwh, i liked 1 and 3 the most lol  2 was good but i was pretty upset with the multiplayer in 2.

I'm a single player guy.  Many people said that Gears 2 did too much and offered too much variety like driving a tank over ice or riding reavers in the sky.  People didn't like that they would have to change up the gameplay.  It's a TPS not a driving game.  Since I played several genres, I was right at home.  Gears 1 was beautiful but too simple and Gears 3 didn't do enough new things, imho.  But I know I'm in the minority.  I'll have to finish Gears Judgement one day...but I really don't want to.
