maybe GTA 5... otherwise i dont think any of them has a shot at it... at least not on current gen. just maybe Watch Dogs (although i personally have gotten fed up with the hype by now)

i think Tearaway is a title that will pleasantly surprise, although not sure if enough for GOTY candidate.. it just feels a bit like how Journey was seen before it went public. we will see

And this is a really poorly worded question to boot. Whether or not one game is better than another game is down to the opinion of whoever is playing.

Probably not.

I'm not a GTA fan at all so that's out of the picture for me. Nothing but Beyond: Two Souls looks promising this year.

The Last of Us is already promised numerous GOTY awards by the end of the year.

2014 belongs to Smash Bros 4 though. My Prediction.

On Metacritic, GTA V probably will. I don't think Batman will, Pokemon could be close, as could Beyond, Wind Waker HD and Super Mario 3D World, but those will likely end up around the 90 mark.

So GTA V, only really.

It may be a cheap shot but if it achieves emotion out of the audience I don't see any problem. The Last of Us is one of my favorite games this year, and i think a lot of people will agree that it is an amazing experience, even though it has flaws. You make it sound like its not good and not liked by a lot of people. I will save you the time writing your opinion piece and place this review here (CONTAINS SPOILERS!!):

This man critiques Last Of Us about a lot things but still finds it a great experience. For me this was the best review about the Last of Us ever. Because it described exactly how I felt about the game.
