Yes, I don' think the price is that big of a deal.  If you are already spending $400, what's another hundred?  (Remember many people think the more expensive is always the best.)  I don't think they will reduce the price of the Xbox One for a few years. (Unless sales are just horrible by comparison.)

I think the Xbox One + Kinect will be able to do so many more things, and easier than it's competition.  After talking to people that were at E3 it seems like it really has the best games.  And most of those, or well, many, will not be out until 2014.

I think the new controllers are going to be the one to play too. The touch pad on the PS4 is cool, but more for web browsing that gaming.

I think they will launch a new workout game either near launch or in 2014 (Xbox One - Fitness Evolved, or Biggest Loser, or Nike workout, something like that.)  Plus another big kid's game - like Disneyworld Kinect, Sesame Street, something like that. 

Surface RT hasn't been the seller Microsoft wanted, so they have more pressure of the Xbox One.  Microsoft thrives under pressure.

I think the Wii U will be the console that sells the most next year due to its lineup like many others have said, however it all depends on Ps4. If Ps4 has game after game coming out during its first year on the market, then I can easily see that outselling the Wii U.

I don't see how either X1 or PS4 could beat WiiU. They are sharing most of their library with their predecessors and their exclusives are as big as Pikmin. Do they have games WiiU doesn't have? Yes, but that's irrelevant since those games are on their predecessors and its not like WiiU doesn't have games they don't lol. WiiUs exclusives are actually proven on top of that. Ofcourse Ninty can also afford a price cut so in other words they don't stand a chance.

The safe money is on the Wii U. As predicted, a lot of the big buzz has died down now for the new systems, and flaws in the systems and holes in their libraries are showing themselves. Pretty much every single system has a pretty poor first year, and with 2 new systems lining up head to head, and fighting 3 other, cheaper systems, it may easily take a lot to make people upgrade.

Meanwhile, the Wii U will likely have a price cut alongside Mario Kart next year. Coming off of Zelda/DK/Mario this year, and with 2 games which are far bigger than any exclusive on any other system known for the first half of next year, you can see the momentum being with the U.

So here are my predictions:

Wii U: 10.6mil
PS4: 7.5mil
Xbone: 6.9mil

But what I really want to know is why, although most here are saying the U, that the PS4 has a big lead in the poll. Clearly people are coming in and voting for their system of choice as opposed to thinking about it logically, and as such are choosing not to post. Fair enough.

PS4, Xbox, then Wii U.

Regardless of anything else, the PS4 and Xbox One are going to have most of the good multiconsole titles. Games like The Division, Mirror's Edge 2, etc, aren't coming to the Wii U and by some chance they do, which I doubt as there was no announcement of the Wii U for either game, it'll be a severely gimped version.

The Wii U isn't going to sell like the Nintendo fans think it will. The majority of those non gamers that bought the Wii aren't going to get the WIi U. They're not gamers, and to them, the Wii was just a fad that they had to partake in. More than likely the first system they've owned since the NES.

PS4 is going to beat Xbox One in sales because most people going into the next gen want the more affordable entry and most of the games that anyone is going to care about are multiconsole, so your choice is a few of these exclusives or a few of these exclusives, or what system do they think will have better exclusives as time goes on. If anything, the year head start that the 360 had, the much lower price point, the far better games for the first year, and the PS3 still passes the system in sales, it kind of proves that the Playstation is a bigger name and now that they're on equal footing this gen is going to be a completely different story.

I'll guess that the PS4 is going to have atleast 10 million in 2014, Xbox One will have eight million, and Wii U will have seven million.
