which will sell the most in 2014?

Wii U 356 33.87%

Playstation 4 608 57.85%

Xbox One 85 8.09%

Total:1,049

Wii U-is currently selling poorly but it has a strong line up of quality exclusives to finish the year which sgpuld build momentum going into next year and cause Q1 to be up YoY. After that im guessing we will see Mario Kart+price cut combo in April which will boost sales. Smash Bros in the summer and Zelda+Wii Sports for the holidays will ensure great sales throughout the year.

PS4-This console looks to improve upon many things PS3 got wrong at launch such as price, online, size, difficulty to develop for and I believe it will have a strong launch. It has a strong lineup but a large number of its games wilp also be available for One/PS3/360/WiiU/PC so there wont be a whole lot of incentive to buy PS4 to play those games. It has some good lookinh exclusives as well like Infamous and Killzone but those games arent huge sellers and games like Knack, The Order are unproven. Im sure we will see some more exclusives throughout the year and combined those titles will sell consoles. Another thing is PS3 is still getting strong support and will lokely be $200 next year so that could take away from from PS4. I see it having a reletively slow start next year and building momentum throughout the year and finish off 2014 very strong.

One-Will probably have a decent launch but I see sales dropping next year. Like with PS4, many of its games are available on multiple consoles and the exclusives it has arent known system sellers. Also at $500 its much more expensive than the competition. It seems to be banking alot on its TV features which are nice but I dont see it being huge at that price. They have also stolen some consumer trust with the DRM fiasco and sudden 180, ig will be interesting to see if they can regain that trust. Im willing to bet it will get a price cut to $400 sometime in the second half of the year and Halo for the holidays will give it a strong boost at the end of the year.

Wii U-10.7 milliln

PS4-8.8 million

Either the Wii U or the PS4. So basically either of the ones in your poll. You secretly edited your poll.

Wii U will most likely have momentum from games released this Holiday, plus Super Smash Bros. And the possiblity of The Legend of Zelda U releasing that year. (Although I doubt it.)

The PS4 will either have that "year after lull" or will continue to sell like the Wii. (I'm not saying PS4 will sell the same numbers as Wii, I'm just saying that the Wii continued to sell after it's launch.)

If the Wii U gets a price cut then I think it will sell the most, if not I'm going with the PS4.

PS4.

The Wii U will probably end up selling the most from holiday momentum. The PS4 and Xbox One are not only going to be competing with each other but also with the PS3 and Xbox 360 which will still get strong support in 2014.

Tough call. I don't think we have enough information yet, particularly about the 2014 lineups for each console.

PS4 will have good momentum in the first few months, but after that? They don't have a whole lot announced yet; I expect they have more, but what will be their holiday killer app? They do have a price advantage over Microsoft, of course, and I don't expect the X1 price to drop until at least 2015. That may be the ace up their sleeve if they can't come up with a game that can move as many units as Halo can.

Xbox One won't have as much momentum as Sony coming into 2014, but there's no question they have a lot of exclusive games coming out for the console, including their heaviest hitter, Halo (a franchise that routinely sells more than anything Sony puts out). Will that be enough to overcome their price disadvantage and reverse the tide in the second half of the year? I'm not sure, though I expect they will do fine for themselves regardless of whether they catch up to Sony or not.

Wii U will likely get a price cut, and combined with Mario Kart, Mario 3D World, and Smash Bros, they should definitely see a nice bump in sales. Problem is, they've dug themselves a VERY deep hole, and it remains to be seen how effective their traditional franchises are going to be in moving Wii U hardware. In short, improvement is practically guaranteed, but how much, and will it be enough to catch up to the PS4 and Xbox One? I doubt it, but far crazier things have happened.

Too many questions.

I want to say Xbox One but I'm going to go with the Wii U. It'll be its second year on the market with a potential price cut and a good amount of quality exclusives.
Wii U 10.6 Million

It is too difficult to say at this point. Things could change to give either of them a boost, and then we have different regions to look at and different countries with in those regions. I'd put my money down on the PS4 and XBO, but I do believe once Nintendo gets the first party games rolling things will pick up for them. If rumors are true and they can at least match the fidelity of the Zelda footage that was displayed some years prior then I'm inclined to think things will pick up (added to that if they can duplicate such quality in other games).

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

with all the games we know about that are releasing in 2014, ill have to say Wii U, but its hard to tell.
