Cant get more killer app than that. If true nintendo wins e3 2014 by default. No chance to the other two.

This sounds a bit too good to be true. If everything in the rumor is true, then I think we will have a new Game of the Forever.

Motion controls have been dropped. The game will use the Wii U Game Pad and build off the controls of the GameCube version of Twilight Princess. There will be heavy use of the Game Pad screen in a variety of unique ways.

This is the one that convinces me that it's fake. While I could see them providing a non-motion version of the controls, there's little doubt that motion controls will be included, at least as an option.

There's so much fanboy wish-fulfillment in this rumor that you KNOW it's false. Seriously...if people want to try and "leak" a believable rumor...maybe try and be a little less specific and grandiose. Not that I would complain if it WERE true...but I'm not holding my breath. Also, I fully expect to see/hear more about the next Zelda IN a Nintendo Direct sometime between January-March of 2014. Then a full reveal at E3.

I WILL say that it makes me happy to see rumors about the next game starting to pop up. There's nothing better than watching the hype slowly build and then grow wildly out of control as ONLY The Legend of Zelda hype can! :D

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

Sounds great to me! Especially that it will be a realistic open world Zelda this time around. Not sure how I feel about the puzzles in dungeons affecting other dungeons. Just seem it will be too complicated for no reason. However, still sounds promising and cant wait to see the reveal!

I aprove of everything except water temple dungeons. Dont they know that temple sucked ass?

More or less yeah. although it did get fairly repetitive with switching to your lead boots and back, as well as raising and lowering the water level, the concept of it was actually kinda genius. I actually very much enjoyed the Water Temple, it was a good challenge, and I got to fight Dark Link :D

only bad thing was it got a little to repetitive at times.

That sounds pretty awful. Not to mention very unlikely.

A world the scope of Skyrim AND a traditional Zelda quest with ten retardedly convoluted dungeons? And four player coop in a 3D game? Nintendo is not known for giant budgets.

Oh and recording voicework for every character in the game... in a gibberish language? Stupidest idea ever.

Banjo Kazooie did it.

No, banjo Kazooie just had sound effects that played when characters talked.   That's a bit different than what the post suggested.  If I read what the post suggested correctly, they want to make a Tolkein-like elvish language and do all the voice recording in that.

Even IF they're doing the Banjo method though, it's still retarded.  It was annoying in Banjo, but tolerable cause it was a platformer with little dialogue and low emotional stakes.  In a game like Zelda, it wouldn't work.

well It might work out. I play a lot of games that have japeneese voice acting only, and the text is english. I actually don't mind it, and I find it kinda entertaining at times, cause their language is kinda pretty lol having an elvish like language would be somewhat similar imo

as long as it doesn't sound to goofy, I think it would work out ok.

who knows, maybe they're just doing this just so they don't have to dub it for other languages. its def less costly.

No motion controls is a massive step backwards if true.

I knew I wasn't the only one who liked the water temple in Ocarina of Time!

I love all of it except for the Realistic type graphics. I hope they don't go to overboard with it. I DO NOT want to see a Zelda game that looks like skyrim. it still needs to have a tiny touch of cartoon/anime in it. just enough "color" to give it that magical feel. Twilight Princess had it though, and since they said they will be using the same or similar art style as that game, I feel pretty at ease. but you never know...
