He made an interview with the scribblenauts developers and gave them a chance to promote their game on his show, because he really liked that game.
He congratulated Naughty Dog for shipping The Last of Us and the great responses it got.

I can't think of anyone in this industry who does something like this.

Yes, he was a bad interviewer but he was right in the end and people saw Larry for who he is. He's just a reviewer and has made disclaimers numerous times that hes only interviewing for the fans and has no idea about the psychology of interviewing. I used to think Larry wasnt about bullshit, kind of like Marcus Beer in the same vein that he wouldnt cover up things but rather just not talk about what he doesn't know but hes a dick.

As someone who listens to Major's podcast, you're very wrong and making a snap judgement based on one occasion.

You are so delusional I almost feel sorry for you...almost.

Just because the Vita isn't selling well doesn't mean it's a shit handheld. Cerny created a masterpiece. The Vita is an incredible handheld and there's nothing Cerny can do right now to improve it's sales, that's Sony's job. Also he's been a part of the video game industry for decades and has worked on a number of games:

Not only this but he's now working on the PS4. So yeah, show some fucking respect. I'm not asking you to suck his dick I'm just saying to not be so god damn rude.

I am not criticising Major Nelson, but those 3 you listed just aren't comparible, they are executives (and one a developer) rather than a dedicated PR person. Basically, compare him to the people behind the PS Blog, not the guys who go up on stage

Have you noticed that the worst movies tend to have massive PR campaigns? They know they aren't great movies and as word of mouth makes others aware, they know people will stop going to see them.

Same scenario here. (Not saying any of this stuff is bad) It's just about continuing to put PR out there.

No need to spin this in either direction. Take it for what it is.

nope it's not the same you know about the movies coming out... here he is talking about something nobody knew or was expecting before he twitted about... totaly different and tottaly counter productive if not true....
