Its not a matter of taste its a matter of "quality". What bothers me the most is that games which have the real potention of being a good game sell a lot less and low budget games with low reviews scores have the highest sales. Because of this, developers find more the reason to create even more of these low budget titles. No matter if they're low rated or not, they will sell anyway. 

I doubt very much that many had this happen to them.  Unless the store didn't carry Z&W and the parents just grabbed the first thing that they saw.

We are comparing the equivalent of comic books to full hardbound ones.  Comics are easier to write up and to read, but only for fluff.  Which still is what a lot of casuals want.  

But eventually a number of even casuals will want more.  Hopefully there will be something out there for them.  Which is why I still maintain that every serious game that wants to sell to the maximum amount of players, needs to have a selection level of difficulty.  Easy and non-frustrating for those that want that to begin with, going up to Difficult/Expert for those that require 'work' in their games before they can enjoy the reward of succeeding.

i don't know, cheapassgamer really liked this game. The forums raved that it was underrated. I've never played it so I'm not going to comment but how many of you have and can verify it's bad?

my neices got this game for xmas

they are 9 and 12

on new years, it was played over their house by the kids there, ages 6 9 10 12 12. most of them liked the games and had fun playing them.

they also played wiiplay (tanks mostly) - parents played this too

and the 2 games that got the MOST PLAY

raymans raving rabbids 2 (game is a howl at times)-parents played this too

and.....

alvin and the chipmunks.

 i played alvin because the kids -being kids- didn't read the directions and i did play it to show them the controls- game isn't that bad, isn't GREAT but its not that bad.

It seems as the Wii's userbase grows so too does it's Million sellers list. Good or bad people buy all different types of games. The biggest sellers usually tend to be games based on movies which we all know are usually horrible. It just proves that advertising and hype work...

I don't own it, but what's wrong with the title? It sounds like multiplayer mayhem fun. 

I like to think of this game selling 1 million like this - If a game that is so obviously shovelware can sell 1 million units and make the developer cash, a game that is higher quality can sell 2+ million units.

If you invest a dollar and get back 100, its time to try investing 5 dollars and getting back 500 , so lets see some more quality games.

I know a lot of people bought this game because allow them to play with they childs. Also this game is not focus on US, people who like FPS or Zelda games, this is aimed for the casual audience, the people that plays without the stress of looking for ammo or save points, people that only want some fun and dont care about resolution or achievements. A lot of people here most think outside the box, probably this game is not for you, but there is a target market that seems to enjoy it.
