I'm Gold Status, my choices:

-2014 Club Nintendo Calendar
-Super Smash Bros (don't see the point, my N64 is right here)
-Wario Ware DIY Showcase
-Zelda Link's Awakening DX Already own it for 3DS VC.
-Super Mario Land
-Sakura Samurai

I'm leaning towards the calendar or Super Mario Land. Advice? Also, what are you all getting?

I was in the exact same position as you so I went ahead and chose Smash even though I'm not too big of a fan of the first one.

Figures that the one year I fail to achieve platinum status they'd actually have cool prizes. I'd love to have that sweet Wind Waker poster or the Majora's Mask soundtrack...

I got the Majora's Mask OST to sell it to my sister.

I'd honestly get the calender if I were you. Gold rewards ain't too appealing this time round. Oh and Super Mario Land 2>Super Mario Land.

It's a fun little concept, but not exactly a game I would call good.

It kind of seems like a game that would be more suited to phones that use the touchscreen. I beat the story (3 hrs). Never touched it again.

Majora's Mask is the one to go for.

I'm platinum and I picked Super Smash Bros. This way when WiiU VC gets this game, I get a discounted rate.

I got Sakura Samurai for my Gold reward. It's a fun little game, but gets repetitive and the fun wears off pretty fast. Well, at least I got it for free...

It tries to add some replayability too with the expert mode once you beat the game, but I beat that after two sittings. There was nothing else I could have gotten that would've interested me though (besides the stuff I already have), so no regrets. :P

 

@OP I would get SML if I were you unless you don't find yourself touching older games anymore.

i hear sml is bad! Watch a review of it first. Just sayin.


I chose majoras mask. But i regret doing so. I dont like the entire soundtrack so i doubt id listen to it. Im hoping i can make a profit on ebay. I wish i chose the posters in stead.


I couldnt bring myself to choose a vc game.

I chose Super Mario Land and I'm enjoying it. Its different from the 2d console marios and its a little difficult (at least for me it is, even though its short I haven't beaten it yet - but I have gotten to the final boss once)

really good and interesting music, neat new enemies and themes
