Some people like SP others MP.
Some like RPG others Sports.
There's no reason why Titanfall won't be great. Its problem around here is that, TF is X1 exclusive and a First Person Action game.
And it's being discussed by people that don't like the genre, you figure how's that going.

I would kind of agree... While I'm very excited about this game; I cannot stop myself from comparing it with COD.
Don't get me wrong; I love COD; the gameplay is fantastic and they deserve their success... That being said; while I played COD like crazy bored at some point (maybe after MW2) and when I bought the last one; I played few games and was actually already bored.
So my concern about Titanfall is that it will be too close of COD and looking at the video; at least from the on-foot perspective; it looks kind of the same.

Still a day 1 pre-order for me hehe

I don't mind the fact that it's multi player only. You can clearly tell they put a lot of work in the multi player and Single Player campaign would be a waste of resources. It's like Call of Duty when it comes to the effort put into MP/SP. I still haven't finished Black Ops 1/2 single player because I just get bored. I think it's better that they put all their resources into MP because let's be honest, the Single Player would be mediocre at best. The only thing stopping me from getting this game is that it's Xbox one/360 only and I doubt my PC could run it very well.

Yeah i have the same thing with some games, they don't look that appealing, but you compare them to some other thing you loved and hope for the best. Still, i don't know how people find it okay that this game lacks a SP? That alone makes it less interesting for me and is why i don't mind it being exclusive. Is this the future of gaming? Scary thought.

I dont find COD very fun so I this wouldnt appeal to me.

I could not agree more about the SP part. I enjoy MP a lot but one of the reason I love Halo for instance is the actual campaign/story.
