Forums - Gaming Discussion - Why don't SE release ff type zero on iPhone/android?

I know this is probably going to be turn into a SE hate thread. I don't hate them otherwise I wouldn't want it in the first place. I understand not localizing it for psp and vita. But they've had success with chaos rings which had only Japanese voices. They've ported tactics from the psp. They've been trying to go into the mobile phone market with some success (TWEWY, chaos rings, deus ex) , so why not release a full fledged final fantasy release that has to be cheaper than making a game like deus ex, and has the chance to become bigger?

 

On its present course I will probably play the fan translation on PPSSPP on Pc.

They haven't localized it. If they did, it'd be out in the US by now.

SE has had unusually high prices for their games. FF III and IV are $16.

Which is still a reasonable price for a phone game with some depth.
